Jr. Compliance Specialist

In LaFinteca, we aim for a crystal-clear AML program; that is why we need good and compromised professionals to help us get it done. As a Jr Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support in the following areas: regulatory and legal analysis of the different jurisdictions where the company operates; risk assessment of potencial clients; apply expertise in Contract Law to support business operations.

​Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Enhance compliance processes by identifying opportunities to improve adherence to regulatory requirements and internal company standards.
• Monitor and stay up to date regarding new regulatory changes, ensuring a constant alignment between industry rules and practices.
• Conduct client screening.
• Monitoring of existing clients and services, applying the latest AML rules and regulations.
• Provide support for various projects as assigned, ensuring timely and effective execution.
• Update and implement policies relevant to regulated activities to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
• Draft and review agreements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards and legal requirements.

• You are a lawyer with over 2 years of experience as a Compliance Analyst, or similar roles.
• You have experience with AML regulation.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese is always a nice to have!).
• You are familiar with Regulatory Compliance in the Fintech Industry (nice to have!).
• Critical thinking and results driven mindset.
